The site is fairly simple to use - on the main page, click on the name of the platform that the game of which you are looking up maps for would be under. Click on the first letter of the name of the game, then scroll to the game that you want.
Here's a tip for Internet Explorer users. You should disable automatic image resizing if you want to view the larger maps. Here's how to do it.
And now you should be ready to view those large maps!
Example
Below is an example of what you might find if you went into the Super NES section and came across The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past.
The first row is a given - it's the title of the game.
The second row is the copyright information of the game. The title image and all graphics used in the direct rips are the property of the name listed here.

Then there are seven columns...
The first column is the name of the area. If the entire area is mapped, you can click the text here to view the map.
The second column is the name of the sub-area. If the sub-area is mapped, you can click here to view the map.
The third column is the resolution of the image. The first number is the width in pixels, and the second is the height.
The fourth column is the image's file size.
The fifth column is the image's format.
The sixth column describes the type of image. If it says "ripped", it means it was directly ripped from the game itself. If it says "captured", it means it was captured using video capture hardware. If it says "original", it means it was drawn from scratch, or otherwise not ripped.
The seventh column is the name of the compiler/creator. If the image is ripped from a game, then it is the name of the person who put it together. If it was drawn from scratch, it is the name of the person who drew it. Whenever the name can be clicked, it means that you can e-mail the compiler/creator. You should always ask for permission if you want to use their maps for other than personal purposes.
As you can see, this is very easy to use. To learn how to contribute the site to make it better, go to the
