HRA Score: 402 271

These are some pictures of the interior of my house as it looked on January 29, 2003. Sure, it looks crowded, but the HRA gives it 402 271 points. Feng shui has also been taken into account. It took a lot of experimenting, so I thought I’d share the fruits of my labour. There was also a short video of my letter from the HRA, but due to monthly bandwidth constraints, it has been taken offline locally.

Just some footnotes when you are viewing the layout:

I used this 4 spaced item because I had the extra space for it. There is only a limit of 64 pieces of furniture per floor, so I couldn’t have put anything else better in those spaces anyway.

Empty table. You could put a diary or tools on this table and it wouldn’t affect the HRA. I would have put in an Island NES game, but again, the limit of 64 pieces of furniture per floor prevents this.

Make sure you make these items facing any direction but south, or you will lose 800 per piece of furniture for non-usability. Even though they would be usable facing south, the HRA considers them facing a wall.

Textures

These are "textures", patterns which you can use in this game for designing clothes, wallpaper, flooring, and signs. Simply copy the patterns below into the grid at the Able Sisters’ shop.

I made these textures long before the game came out, so I haven’t yet had time to figure out which palette would be best for each texture. Until I do, if I ever do, I’m sure you can figure it out on your own.

You know how the Special Movie in Super Smash Bros. Melee doesn’t have the secret characters? Well, this is the video that should have been included in the game after you have unlocked all the characters and collected all the trophies! After 5 months of working on this video off-and-on, I, JMTL, have created it.
