New revision of maps was ripped via FCEUX Nametable Viewer, which ignores darkened palette.
But is shows the actual map from the memory, each room consists of 1 or 2 screens & is shown entirely in NT Viewer, no scrolling required, also parallax parts don't move.

For now I have the 1st Level finished, with all objects & items.

The more colorful version of the first level looks much better than the one with the darkened palette. The first, darkened, version reminds me of Back To The Future III on the Sega Genesis which was also way too dark due to a failure during cardridge production (as described by David Haywood at http://mamedev.emulab.it/haze/, see attached picture).

Yeah, it stays mystic for me, that some games had reduced brightness on NES. Seems they're intended to be dark, which looks much worse.

The FCEUX Nametable Viewer is a great way to capture those slightly off-screen map portions. Also, you know how in some games, there's a large portion of the map that's moving while usually the ground stays stationary, like with some Mega Man bosses? Usually, the seem between moving and non-moving portions is a bit off and you can lose a scanline or two of graphics but with the Nametable Viewer, you get both portions without any distortion.

And as for your revised map, it's vastly superior to the original. And personally, even if the darkened palette is intentional and used to set up the mood of the game, I think the map works better with bright colours.

And the last one. Gonna submit these maps, would you wish/suggest anything before?

All objects & items were ripped for the 2nd quest, so there aren't any big hamburgers.
