Are you in some kind of school or college where images are "disabled"? If so, you're out of luck, if not, then WTF?

Your browser has to send "referrer" field else the anti-leech script will block you from seeing the images. You might be using a proxy that is removing them, or you might have turned them off in your browser.

I've mentioned this before, but I'll bring it up again. The hotlinking script on this site is weird. In Safari (the Mac browser), I can't access images without directly clicking on them, i.e. I can't paste a url into the address bar, I can't open maps in tabs, and I can't do a "save link as..." with a right click. It seems better in Firefox, but I still can't paste urls in the address bar. In general, this site is not multi-browser friendly. I think it's high time for a cleanup.

I thought the anti-hotlinking script was only added a few weeks ago. Allowing no-referer links should help. Here's a nice helpful webpage:

It was re-added. It used to do the same thing.

With a bit of simple socket programming you can easy  create a request with the right referrer.  Then pass the results from your webserver to the end user.  But I suppose the type of people who know how to do that would know better than to hot-link images.
