Moved to the social. Only post topics here when you actually have a map in progress.

That was kind of harsh, Inty. We could have helped him to get started.

Jade, I think there are a couple topics talking about how to make maps on this board. You basically need an emulator and a graphics editor. Take screenshots and paste them together.

In Inty's defense though, he might not have understood that he(she?) was actually talking about wanting to start a map without actually knowing how. I almost thought it was a semi-trolling post at first (although an unintentional one). Thanks for being on the lookout.

Yeah, I realize that, but Inty was very blunt about it and assumed that Jade didn't understand the board. I guess he either didn't move it, or Jon moved it back, because it's in the original board now.

I would like to see a Digimon map more than a Pokémon map because there are already many Pokémon games maps. I just do not know which Digimon games are well mappable. But I think the Playstation games have been with prerendered background images so they would be mappable - and then there are those many Wonderswan games, although they are in Japanese only.

I would think that it bores more because of its age than because of its black-and-whiteness. But because most black and white games are already old, one easily thinks it must be because of the lack of colours.

It can be different for the game you talked of but I just know that I really liked many scenes in newer games that were toned in greyscale. If a game has good gameplay, controls and good music (not the quality, just the theme), it should be enjoyable independent of its graphical qualities.
