You should've mentioned that it's like Castleroid/Metroidvania in the first place!  :)

That's an interesting coincidence. I was thinking about the idea of doing this game myself, and I am currently playing this game. By the way, for those who have not played this game, DO SO NOW. It is one of the awesomenessest game ever made.

By the way, that place is called "Outer wall". (why can't I edit? Argh!)

By the way 2, it is "Mimiga", not "Migma". I thought it was just a typo in your post, but I see that the same error is also on the map.

Are you using a level editor to make these maps? I sure hope so. I think there are 2 different level editors that exist for this game (not counting whatever the developer used).

Oh dear... I never realized I was misspelling Mimiga all this time. >.< I swear, I must have dyslexia or something.

Yes, I am using an external editor (Miza). I'll check the other one out to see if it has any redeeming value.

You're not dyslexic, this happens to people all the time. You don't read every letter when you read words you have seen before, so if you accidentally mis-read a new word the first time you see it, chances are it will keep happening, because you don't usually read the letters themselves again.

Oh, and ... yeah, nice job on this game, please keep it up. Level editors sure make mapping easy, right? :D

I fixed the mistake in the first map: http://img288.imageshack.us/img288/2629/firstcavewl1.png

Here's the Mimiga village. It's almost done. I just need to finish Yamashita Farm.

Yep, I thought for years that the beach in Zelda: Link's Awakening was called "Tornobo Shores", when it's "Toronbo Shores". I still prefer my version, though, because I'm so used to it.

I've been mapping another game at the same time, so progress has been slow. In spite of that, I did manage to finish Grasstown:

What I'm wondering is, having not played the game, do all the areas fit inside one big, overall map, like Metroid and Super Metroid? Being able to see the entire game at once is always cooler in my opinion.

Short Answer: No. The teleporters prevent any chance of that happening.

Well, I finally got around to playing this game, and it's pretty darned fun. Impressive for a freeware game. I look forward to more maps!

Ummwat finished Cave Story, so it should be moved to Map Gab, but i like those from RT 55J better coz its detailed while those of ummwat is empty and seperated in many mini-maps.

Well, i hope ummwat will continue to amend it further to RT 55J Standard or even beyond that. :D
