I swear I make a new site every time I feel bored.  This time though, I've put my finger on something I can actually do good with I think.  Anyhow, it's a blog called protokulture and if any of you guys wanna write about anything in particular (like maps omgah) you're more than welcome to come sign up!

VGMaps Social Board / Finished my first semester of college.

I passed remedial math with an A (was hard because im so bad at math)



I passed english, (writing arguments), with an A and one of my essays were entered in some sort of college contest.



I passed first aid and CPR with an A.  Easy.



I passed orientation (such a joke class, yet its a req) with an A.  



I passed history (end of civil war to now) with an A.



I passed fine arts (loved it) with an A.



I finished my first semester with a big fat 4.0.  I will need it because next semester is college algebra (very scared)

Gaming / Failure to obtain an Ebaystation Wii

Well, i didnt get one, was the 13th person there, there were only 10 spots.  *sigh* missed it buy a couple of hours.  that was guaranteed Wii money =(



best line of the night:  "Hey, ill sell you my chair for 500 bucks"



in which i replied: "i dont think ill buy shit from you, thank you."

In a couple of hours I suppose I will irresponsibly go spend more of our needed money on yet another toy.  Final Fantasy III!  FINALLY!  WOOT! I love my DS.

November 15, nintendo will launch its first broad based advertisement campaign for the wii.  They are spending something like $200 million on advertisement.  All i can say is that it's about time nintendo started spending all that pokemon money

Map Gab / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES)

this is my favorite TMNT game for the NES, i loved it so much when i was younger.  Also, this would make jon all happy and teary eyed because his dream of that atlas thing will be even closer to fruition.



muwahahahahahahahahaha.  im working on the palette for it now, so maybe the first map will go up soon.

Maps In Progress / Parasite Eve (PSX)

Well, I plan on mapping at this now that you guys have blessed me with a working psx emulator and whatnot.  This is the game that made me go to sony and whatnot.  Expect strategies and tips.  This and TMNT II, along with some SotN are the only things im going to be doing for a while.  I have a lot of other games to finish, but this is my parasite eve thread anyhow.  



Havent started, but I plan to today.

Gaming / Sad Video Game Music

While there are quite a few of these, i was piddling with my mp3 collection and i found my metroid metal directory.  I played the ending and like, that song, for some reason, just breaks my heart.  



I dunno why, but it just does.  Funny how some guy totally took that midi and redid it with real instruments and put all of that emotion into it.
