Map Requests / RE: [Revival]: Wario, Micro Machines etc. maps.

Well, since the DKC ones seem quite hard, how about just doing the Game Boy games?

If there's no reply by October 30th (that's 3 weeks from the start of this topic, i.e. 2 weeks from now), I'll close this.

Map Requests / [Revival]: Wario, Micro Machines etc. maps.
« on: October 09, 2006, 03:29:47 pm »
I'll just be blunt (ish) this time.

Basically, I'd like maps from any Wario (Land) game (2 to 4, since 1 (SML3) has already been done)), any of the Genesis/SNES Micro Machines maps (i.e. 1, 2 and '96), and if possible, V3 (a.k.a. '64 on the N64), as well as Donkey Kong Land/Country Maps (that haven't been done, obviously) - perhaps, you could possibly make 'map screen maps' for DKL better than the ones I made. (They're not crap exactly, but they do have the odd mistake now and again, e.g. 'Nautlius Chase' instead of 'Nautilus Chase', although, and they could generally be much better, IMO.

I knew it can't've been a real ban, otherwise I wouldn't be able to post. (I'll remake the topic, but it probably won't get very far, since well, people are probably mostly in the Social board, or whatever you call it, and not many people seem to be interested in video game cartography/-logy(?))

Message Board Help / Banned??

Er... can you tell me exactly what I done that violated the TOS, and thus got my account banned? (I really don't remember posting in this forum for at least a month, and the System Notification message, IIRC (if I read correctly) was dated September 28th.

VGMaps Social Board / RE: PIGN forum from 2004

No, I'm pretty sure that was me. I remember quite clearly, asking for Donkey Kong Land, and Donkey Kong Country maps, and then shouting at you because not only hadn't you made any, you hadn't even replied to even say whether you'd do them or not. If the topic starter is 'matthewcollinson', 'Matthew Collinson', or like that, then, that was me.

Try and find it anyway. Because I want to see how bad I used to be (roflmfao).

That first post (#4703) really brings back memories.

Oh, er... incase you didn't know, I was "matthewcollinson". I can remember, a post, I think I made, where I requested maps for DKL, or something, and I didn't get a reply, for 4 weeks or something, and then I sort of er... had a tantrum .

EXP is gained by posting at least once a day. You only get one a day, no matter how often you post during that day. It appears at 12:00am EST.

So, what your saying is, say I posted 15 topics one day, 5 the next day, er... 8 the next day, didn't post for about 2 weeks, then posted 10 after that, then another 21 the next day, within those days, I would have another 5 EXP (not 18 EXP (1/day), or 59 EXP (1/post))?

In other words, for every day that you post (regardless of how much/many you post), you get 1 EXP?

Well, they won't have much luck, because, as far as I know, I have absolutely NOTHING to do with eBay. I.e. I'm not a member.

I keep getting these e-mails from eBay (it's a very long post and all content from the e-mail has been italicized):

Does anyone else have these e-mails??

If not, then, in that case, some how, I've just randomly been the person that people complain to eBay through... I'm pretty sure it's SPAM, because all of them say this exact message:

"hello, Give me some answer`s please: What happened with my item , i have allready payed you by PayPal . i'm a bit confused about this .Please respond now or i will contact eBay and report you"

What is this all about?? Can anyone tell me??

VGMaps Social Board / "Your computer is infected!" message.

I keep getting this message saying "Your computer is infected!.

Here's a screenshot of the message (ignore the 'GameFAQs' bit, it's the message in the corner).

(It's full size so you can see the message).

Has anyone got this message, and if so, is it genuine or one of those 'joke' things?

Actually, that's exactly where I got that quote from. It says that "Michael Fish making his last BBC Weather forecast on 6th October 2004" under a picture of him doing just that.
