Hellcio do you plan on completing the games that you started maping or are you going to do 1 level only. it would be nice to have the entire game mapped out.
 Do you mined if someone else completes it?
Also full game maps, ingame maps and fighting game areanas are good but thngs like the black tiger shop is not a map but a screen shoot. it really dose not offer anything.

New info, it seems that their are 4 MM2 arcade machines to exist acording to lost media archive and guru's rom dumping news as well as some forum rumors. 2 by scott, 1 possibly by YouTube user phantomdj, and 1 assumed to be owned by developer Bob Flanagan.
I tried to contact phantombj but got no response (one his video of MM2 he says "I DO NOT OWN NOR DO I HAVE ACCESS TO THIS ROM".
Now I am trying to fined out how to get in contact with Bob Flanagan, but its proving difficult.

It seems that G2 has 103 unique levels and these levels are fliped or rotated in 4 directions for a total of 412 different levels. So if the game gose up to 999 then all levels are repeated 2x and some 3x.
the same gose for the treasure rooms and secret rooms.
I will only do the 103 unique rooms ( I will not do the othe 3 rotated ones) as well as the treasure rooms and secret rooms.

I think what you are looking for is a tilemap viewer to what MAME has but I dont think anyone knows of such a program or if it even exists for the genesis.
the best emulator for doing maps would have to be gens-rerecording because it has the option "pink background" to turn the transparent layers pink insted of black as well as sprite & BG layer selection and cheat code input. for cheat cods go to http://gamehacking.org/

Maps In Progress / saturn and PS1 maps planed

I have continued on with SNES popfulmail but planing on doing next The Legend of Oasis and The Legend Of Valkyrie (psx remake)
I will only to the first areas as a try out to see how well I can map it and if all goes well, then I will finish them.
also doing legend of blacksilver (C64)

what are some of the best sites (and safest) to download ROMs & ISOs from? also emulators.
It seems a lot of sites offer bad dumps of CD/DVD games (and emulators with hidden software)that you have to register, pay, download some suspicious software as well as other crap.

I finally got an email from MAMEDEV and the rumors are false. They dont have the rom or wip drivers.
so no luck there.
