Now there are rumours of an external harddrive for the revolution. We'll have to have a new chart that takes that into consideration if one is announced at E3.

I thought the external harddrive was officially announced? And it won't change the size, it'll be a plugin type thing i expect. I'd love to be able to use the 200GB external harddrive i already have, fill it up with old nintendo games and blast them on my Rev.

Almost nothing has been officially announced for the Rev. It has been said that the two USB ports on the back could be used for HDD storage. There's speculation on whether Nintendo will release their own drive or support existing hardware. In either case, part of the size difference is due to the 360 and PS3 having HDD built in. I think its only fair to show the Rev with a HDD if that is a possible configuration.

The other two are roughly over four times larger in volume, though.  I'd still think there's some amount of design efficiency of Nintendo's part.

Maybe it's from the lower specs, too...no need/less need for fans or the parts could all be closer together with less risk of overheating.

I don't like it when people abbreviate Revolution as Rev. Makes me think they're talking about me ;)

Um, please don't share any details. Though I'm interested in knowing how often Rev's controllers need to be charged. ;)

Rev's main unit is smaller than the others'.  But it's probably easier to handle that way.  >_>

<insert beavis & butthead laugh here>

you said 'unit'.

I am cornholio. I need TP for my bunghole.

Amazing how Rev can be both black and white, providing for everyone's tastes. Though, you know, I've heard that once you play black you can't go back.

The Rev is better than its predecessor because it now accepts full sized di...scs.

Okay, that's enough.
