Considering that when I made my Wonder Boy III combined most-of-the-world map, it took about a *day* to run through PNGOut... (due to being on a rather more ancient CPU) ...I'll take an hour per map. The file sizes are nice and small, too. I'll post in here when it's done to get DarkWolf's approval. Then there's those Blake Stone maps...

DarkWolf

As long as you didn't remove anything I think they should be fine.  Thanks for cleaning them up.  I'm just really lazy sometimes.

Maxim

Well, I checked that I didn't screw up the title cards but they could use another check.

Here's the things I changed and/or screwed up at least once:

- Complied -> Compiled

- TM not cut from the logo

- Correct info on title card

- Multiple of 64px width/height

- 64px padding on map

A recheck of these would be good.

What's the protocol for submitting them? I imagine emailing 70MB to a Hotmail address won't work too well. Anyway, I've got another night of PNGOuting to do thanks to a missing line of pixels on a third of the maps, and a missing border from one of them...

TerraEsperZ

I never had to submit such a large amount of data, but I think an email with a Rapidshare or Megaupload link would be adequate.

I always upload them to my webspace and e-mail the link to Jon.

Maxim

Well, all email is blocked for me at work, so this'll have to do.

All done. I think.

I've just checked them, and they look great, in addition to bringing back a lot of good memories.

I practically began my PC gaming career with Wolfenstein 3D, which was the best game I could play on our first computer which we inherited when one of my uncle died (it was a 386DX40, so a measly 40 MHz for those who don't know what that means, and it only had 2 MB of RAM). I still remember how tough Episode 6 Level 1 was, with all those long corridors with tons of alcoves with white guards in them.

Hey Darkwolf, are you planning on mapping its sequel, Spear Of Destiny? I remember the very last level being very scary once you picked up the Spear, what with all the ghosts, hellish walls and of course, the Angel of Death.

I will probably do SOD one of these days since I think it's just additional textures and sprites (hopefully the original wolf items are the same #).

I may also do Body Count, but it has problems I need to solve, mainly the walls with masking.

I was downloading it and my computer froze at 50%.  And now it says the file has reached its download limit.  >_<

You'll have to put it up again somewhere.

Maxim

It'll come alive again sooner than the time it'll take me to upload it...

...but I can upload a lot faster at work.
