Great work, I don't know how you do it.

TerraEsperZ

This just further proves that you're among the best mappers around. I would have thought that this would be really hard to map considering it's on such an obscure system. Unless you're using the PSX version in Castlevania Chronicles?

The X68000 emulator I used for Granada was pretty good, you can disable layers.  Also the save states are pretty much memory dumps of the machine so the structure of the levels were easy to find.

TerraEsperZ

I only remember trying to emulate it several years ago with an emulator written in japanese on an old computer that couldn't run it decently. I somehow thought this was still the case.

I read it as (roughly) 2周目以??ちるとモアイか出現 (can't read 2 of them at all), which has something to do with surroundings, eyes and scattering, then something appears. (I don't speak Japanese at all, but I can write it enough to get it into an online translator. Go figure.)

This may be a dumb question, but have you checked GameFAQs for the location of your item?  There is a guide available.  I am not sure if it has what you are looking for, but it's there if you need it.

There is also http://www.vgmuseum.com/mrp/screen-cvx68.htm">this site that seems to have a lot of information.

Hope that this helps.

Zeric

Thanks marioman I forgot about that site. Seems like I have to play through the game again to make it appear.

Added the first, second(incomplete) and third stage.

I gave you the "HTML: Links" item, Zeric.  Now use it.

marioman

Glad that I could help Zeric.  Good luck with the rest of the maps.

Zeric

Added Level 6.

Added Stage 7.

Now there is only the last stage left and that one is kicking me so hard that I almost feel like I am gonna kill someone j/k and the bloody emulator I use doesn't have a savestate function so it's gonna take a while.

I'm constantly impressed by how awesome your work is in mapping difficult games on uncommon systems.

This is the x68000 version of the Castlevania game for PS1 called Castlevania Chronicles? I thought the levels look familiar. I never knew the game was first remade in Dec of 1993. that's cool. I wonder what the differences are. Anyone know?

BTW: Good maps Zeric. you must not have them all complete yet cause I didn't notice them on the main vgmaps.com/x68000 section.
