Breath of Fire
« on: April 22, 2009, 11:26:39 pm »
Has anybody ever made a full world map of the original Breath of Fire? Preferably the SNES version, but the GBA port would be nice as well. The closest thing I have found is here:

If nobody has ever made one, I had considered attempting it myself.

I was thinking about asking the same thing, SkiDragon.

Maybe we could get someone to see about mapping the game out as well?

What a coincidence I've already started this project.

Nice. I am mostly just interested in the world map. Are you posting your results onto this website or somewhere else?

Thanks.

Here and at my site.  I'm doing both world and area maps but this might take a while since bgmapper gives me nothing with this game.  I've also got other projects I'm working on.  The initial world map will be an untouched one so no flying ruin, no erupted volcano.  I'll probably add those features in a later version.  I still have to make a code that controls daylight, and on that note all towns will be mapped at full daylight except for Bleak of course.

Need a bug check:

I know I'm missing the giant, the volcano, and the swamp but I may have overlooked something else.  I was going to make 2 world maps; 1 with everything as it is from the start of the game and another with all the changes made throughout the game.

Well here they are.  Still think I might be missing something.
