After months of putting it off, I finally completed the gallery page!

Ocarina of Time Nintendo Gallery (med. sized)
(Half-sized)
(Full-sized)

Can you find the secret button? ;)

The first Majora's Mask map is up! This time around, I'm trying out using filtered textures rather than having them be pixelly. I finally found out how to make the filtered textures look proper (I had to use SAT rather than MIP) so I can make it look close to what the game really looks like. However, I am still not going to bother with getting the vertex shading 100% accurate.

The next map could take a while because it's Clock Town. Since there's a lot of time-based changes that happen in this town, I may end up either only using the 1st Day NPC layout or leave out the changing NPCs altogether.

I'm going to advise against using purely graphical navigation menus like the system page. Besides hindering the visually impaired, who may rely on screen readers or large text, it also hinders anyone who can't identify the console by image alone. For example, despite me being a huge game nerd, the 3rd and 4th rows to me are all "old computer thing". Not to mention many young kids growing up now probably don't even know what a N64 looked like unless their dad had one laying around, and that certain consoles varied in design by region.

As far as I know, there is only one thing. The hidden Treasure Box in Mushroom Kingdom's castle can only be accessed once, when the Toad is escorting you to see the Chancellor for the first time. You have to hop off of his head to reach it, and this is the only time an NPC will be near the doorway to allow you to reach it, so you only have one shot at it.

Very nice! It's about time that game got some love. It would also really help me in finding the last dang firefly...

Oh, wow. I saw New Super Mario Busters 2 and Teenage Mutant Koopa Troopas, but I didn't realize he made more. These make me very happy. ;D

It's an anti-piracy measure in the game, probably triggered by the use of the camera code stuff. You'll just have to use even more codes to give yourself a bunch of Rare Candies or something. :P

Good news! Apparently, the person who told me the N64 process didn't work in Windows 7 just didn't know how to do it properly, because I just ripped test scenes from Paper Mario and (more importantly) Majora's Mask and it worked perfectly fine. I'll have to have a talk with that person...

I just got a new computer! It's very fancy and very fast. So what does that mean for my mapping? Well, apparently the N64 ripping method I've always used does not work on Windows 7. Luckily, I have Win7 Professional, which means I get the virtual Windows XP, but there's no guarantees that will allow it to work. The worst case scenario is that I will have to keep my old computer set up next to me, and use it to rip Majora's Mask maps and then render it on here. Everything else should be the same, hopefully.
