It has been announced that Dawn Wells -  Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island has passed away. I have added her to the memorial in each of the Gilligan's Island maps. I'm having trouble logging into the Yahoo account so I'm uploading them here.

Map Gab / How many maps are up?

I noticed that there hasn't been any announcements of how many maps since 10,000 on July 5, 2008.  So I was just wondering how many maps are up as of now after nearly 3 years?

Map Gab / Xevious Fardraut Densetsu (PC Engine/TG16)

This port of Xevious is from the Turbo Graphx 16 system known as PC Engine in Japan, where it was only released in.


The Japanese writing in the title screen says "Fardraut Densetsu"

This version of Xevious has 2 games to play in it.  Arcade which has the original game, and Fardraut which is a 4 stage game with new enemies and a story line.  I got the Arcade game done.  As far as the Fardraut game goes,  I would appreciate some help finding more hidden objects namely Sol Towers and Special Flags though I found some already.

One of the stages, that I didn't include, is a revisit to areas 7 to 16 of the Arcade mode which is skipped if the obscenely difficult boss at the end of Stage 2 Area 4 is defeated.

Map Gab / KK: Destiny of an Emperor (NES)

First let me say I know that someone named Thraxian started a thread on this game over 2 years ago but hasn't been heard since.



Using walk through walls (and over mountains and water), and no random encounter codes, I was able to map the world and some of the surrounding tilesets which will be removed from the submitted version.

Map Gab / Xevious (Atari 7800)

Here is yet another port of the arcade classic Xevious.  It will open a new section here.  All are already done, PNGGauntleted, and submitted.



The Atari 7800 is in the generation of consoles with the NES and Sega Master System.

One weird thing about this version of Xevious is that the water in it is green, looking much like the forest.

I just downloaded and installed the PNGGauntlet.  Before I try it, I want to ask something.  How should I set the PNGOut options?  How is yours set?

I am now mapping this Commodore 64 game.  This is going to be a HUGE map.  It will be about 7000 pixels wide and I don't know how long it will be.  I'm doing this map in sections to be put together later.

I am now mapping all the remaining areas in this game.  These include all the interiors, hidden passages, and the passage to Malkil.  This time, I'll put all the interiors of an area, such as the Town of Piedup, on one map arranged the way the buildings are shown on the main map.  So hopefully,  all will go well here.

Message Board Help / Problems editing with HTML links

When I edit my posts with links in them, it keeps adding HTML tags here and there on the links which messes up my post.  Such as "< a href >" at the start of the line.  When I try to re-edit the post, I get a few "< /br >" here and there.  That happened when I edited my "PIGN forum in 2004" post.  Just want to let you know about it.
