I don't know if anyone else noted, but last night VGMaps was down on account of the bandwidth having been exceeded. I was curious to know if this situation happened often, or if someone found a way to do massive hot linking of the site's maps?

It's happened on occasion.

Thankfully I managed to get a hold of my host, http://www.myrmid.net">Myrmid.net, and they got back to me this morning (awesome service, and on a Saturday morning, too!) and cleared up a few other things while I was at it.  I'll have some more GB allowed this month, I think the site's just becoming more popular over time.  Post a link to VGMaps.com in the right place, and BAM!  Massive spike in hits!

If you want great hosting service, try http://www.myrmid.net">Myrmid.net!  :)

My hosting is the same cost with more benefits. But I won't advertise here.

But I noticed the bandwidth limit, too. I was hoping it wasn't going to be for the whole month.
