Well, I submitted my first map of World 4 of Yoshi's Island. I just want to give a special thanks to Piranhaplant for picking up Yoshi's Island when I had put it down. Even if you didn't get very far, your maps were great and the main part of the inspiration that got me to tackle the game again. Thank you.

Also, as I mentioned in the gallery, I'm taking a bit of a break from Ocarina of Time until the semester ends in a couple of weeks. When I do return to it, I'll be covering the future versions of familiar territory.

I'm back from my little post-summer break with not one but four OoT maps. Future versions of areas I've mapped already are very easy to do, so those will always go by fast. I head back to campus on Sunday, so I'm going to try and do as much as I can before then. I may even work my way up to the Forest Temple!

One of the coolest things about these 3D maps is they make you more aware of what each area is really like.  2D games are wysiwyg but any time you play a 3D game you're limited to what the camera angle is programed to show you.  It's fun to look at these and get ah-ha moments seeing something you weren't supposed to see or getting a better idea about each little area.

An interesting little update for this weekend. Not only do you get two Yoshi's Island maps, but all of the minimaps from Kirby Air Ride! Unfortunately, the Forest Temple isn't ready yet, but it will be next weekend.

I just want to say thanks again to Piranhaplant for the Yoshi's Island maps he did when I was inactive. Also, a special thanks to my friend who helped me rip the Kirby Air Ride maps.

I loved the latest map from Yoshi's Island--and that was a positively brilliant map of OoT's Forest Temple! Between the puzzle block room, the twisting corridors, the courtyards, and that rotating basement room, this temple looks like it had to be a PAIN to map out. Kudos on doing such a good job with it!

EDIT:
Also, thought I'd finally update the OoT map list from a couple pages ago. :P

Thanks. It was a challenge figuring out how to lay out things.

Sorry I've been quiet for so long. I haven't completed any new maps, but I finally got to rip the rest of the Fire Temple. I also got Zora's River and Zora's Domain. I should have them all done in two weeks, meaning I'll be on my way to the Ice Cavern!

It took a while, but the Fire Temple is finally done. I've also mapped my way up to the Ice Cavern, just in time for the holidays! Unfortunately, due to spending time with my friends and family for Thanksgiving, I didn't really make much progress, so I won't be able to complete the next map until the school semester is over.

Also, I've fixed my progress percentage to give more weight to dungeons. I still have more than a third of the game to go!

Now that I've graduated from college, I can move through Ocarina of Time a lot quicker. No more "one rip per 2-3 weeks" nonsense! That said, Ice Cavern and Future Lake Hylia are both done. Next up is the funtastic Water Temple!

List updated.

Not to be picky, but I noticed on the Lake Hylia rip, the side view shows Lake Hylia drained, but the top view shows Lake Hylia with its water level full. Was this intentional?

Looks like Jon accidentally linked to the Present version instead of the Past version. Nice catch!

It's been quite a while, but I've finally made the next Yoshi's Island map. For some reason, 4-5 and 4-6 don't stand out very much to me.

Also, I started ripping the Water Temple, but haven't passed the first room. Surprisingly, it's as a huge pain to rip.

That's a surprise?  It's the Water Temple, it's the worst dungeon in all of Zelda.

Awesome, I have been watching the progress of the Yoshi's Island Maps all this time.
