Late last night, veteran mapper Revned finished a project that he worked on for three years, the map of Dracula's Castle for the PlayStation epic, Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night! It began as a multi-mapper project started in this topic back on August 30, 2006, with some contributions by Edsword, mephea, TerraEsperZ, Wileee, and Zeric, but a great deal of the work was done by Revned. Considering that this is one of the most renowned Castlevania games, if not the best, and one of the finest PlayStation games ever, I thought this was worthy of a news post. April Fools' Day is over!
Do you guys like Metroid Dread? Yup, it's another April Fools' joke - maps of a non-existent game!
Since June 2005 rumours have circulated about a 2D Metroid game for the Nintendo DS, supposedly named Metroid Dread. Years later, no such game has materialized, and Nintendo has denied its existence. Yet the rumours persist to this very day. And that's the whole joke; I spent the last four months and possibly 250-300 hours to recreate what such a game could possibly look like! :) Please comment on it in this topic.
