Any LOTR nerds here?
« on: April 25, 2011, 11:12:15 am »
I'm doing the SNES Lord of the Rings and while some areas in the game are clearly named many are not.  Does anybody know the appropriate names for all the various areas?

See that's just the thing, I'm sure the whole area between the Shire and the Barrow Downs isn't called the Forest of Brandywine.  But the game never really says.  I'm used to making up area names like that for other RPG's, but since LOTR has such history I thought somebody might want the originals.

I don't know if the LOTR online game used the same regions as the books (and the SNES game), but here are annotated maps for Lord Of The Rings Online: http://lotrovault.ign.com/View.php?view=Maps.List. Maybe they help.
