Odd topic you linked to.  I didn't get the point of it all.  Those posts are weird.



I never heard of "mixing bittages", but seeing as how some Capcom characters like Morrigan are reused game after game, being not that much different between generations, I don't think that's really an argument with any kind of validity.



(I like to use Morrigan in Capcom Vs. SNK 2 EO despite her being the "pixellation queen".)

It certainly was a topic that ran all over the place. The stats page lists where people come into the site from. That one was the latest one and provided a boost in traffic. I kinda wonder how you can pick out the difference between the bits in sprites, anyhow. Just the number of colors?

What's the story on the domain name (link referenced in the forum)?  Did someone here put that together to make the prank more plausible?

I was having trouble understanding why a mapping site would have exclusive information on a game like this, so I figured an actual site would be more realistic to announce the game. Then tied this site in as a group of fans that mapped the Japanese version of the game.
