RE: Buck Rogers Count Down to Doomsday

There aren't many RPGs that I know of in Sega Genesis and here I have "Buck Rogers, Count Down to Doomsday". This space cyber game has really sparked me to get started on it. I have already finished nine maps. Here is an example of the lowest deck on the ECG Ship. I can't wait to get the Solar System done. What I wish I could add to the maps are icons of special encounters except they don't exist. Once you take a look at the maps on their arrival here, feel free to suggest what should make it easier to indicate.

I never played this game. That map looks pretty good so far. I can't compare it though to anything. I notice you have a lot of games in mapping progress. Heh. Don't you loose track of what game your doing?

I've done that before, take on to much at once and believe me, it can make you crazy! But keep your sanity and don't get in over your head. Heh :)

All the Spaceports for getting supplies and stuff are finished and now I'm going on to my main missions. I have a preference to this version above all the others.

The C64, Amiga and PC versions are in "Eye of the Beholder" game engine which makes them confusing and have over 75 skills which would be a right kerfuffle to sort out, so they're no fun at all.

I wonder if the title of this game was derived from the Cartoon title "Duck Dodgers".

I'm pretty sure Duck Dodgers came AFTER Buck Rogers...

EDIT: Wikipedia confirms...Buck Rogers first appeared in 1928, and Duck Dodgers in 1953.

Finally Buck Rogers gets its finish. There is a sequel called Buck Rogers: Matrix Cubed, but it was never released on Sega Genesis or designed in the same gameplay as the Sega Genesis game.
