Doom Games??
« on: February 20, 2009, 02:56:07 pm »
I was wondering if I could put in a request for the Doom Games?

The ones I've got are Doom, Doom 2, Doom 3, Doom 95 collection, Doom 1 for Gameboy Advance & Doom 2 for the Gameboy Advance.

I know I'm asking alot with this Doom request but I'd like to the request none the same.

I also know that there's been maps made but their extremely crude and doesn't show where things and monsters are.

Thanks in advance for whoever takes up my request.

There are already 3D "Doom" and "Doom 2" maps that show everything on http://ian-albert.com/misc/gamemaps.php . I see no reason to map the GBA version of Doom and Doom 2, I thought they were very similar to the PC version just like the many other versions. I don't know if the 95 collection is worth the trouble. Doom 3 looks very complicated to map, it is somewhat new after all.

I imagine that the later Doom games would be kinda hard to map.

I forgot that I had downloaded the maps to Doom and Doom 2 ages ago but would love to get ahold of the maps for Doom 3.

The GBA versions of Doom and Doom 2 might be similar but could be mapped if someone could map the GBA games.

Actually the Doom games are exceedingly easy to map.  Just like with Zelda all you have to do is assemble and mark up the in game map.  And here's why I never did it:

That guy's site has all the Doom info you could ever possibly want.  He's also cornered the Doom market at GameFAQs.  It's why I did Hexen instead:
