Map Requests / Re: Nintendo Power - 1988-1996 cover games

Unfortunately the Basketball Court is incomplete because there are too many changing angles of the floor that it is impossible for me centralise the floor positions. Regarding the orange circles and purple area they change from team to team. And the adverts on either side of the stand change randomly every game.

EDIT: I have finished what Carl Heitman began, yep its Mortal Kombat II, because there were three arenas missing.

This to you Rick Bruns. You've done the whole of Gauntlet. Well are you interested in doing Gauntlet II? It would add to your collection of Gauntlet maps. If you're not so keen, is okay if I map the game?

Ah! I forgot about those. Excuse me. Now I have finished and submitted Stage 3. Thanks very much. Just one more stage remains to be mapped. And I think Stage 1 could do with a remaking to input the missing background behind the first.

I'd like to know if anyone can assist me in the 3rd stage. Where the background should be is white in the prototype. This is because the background has too much animation and brightness levels changing. Plus I think one or two of the spiral columns are incorrectly aligned.

I had no idea that both Nintendo World Cup and Super Spike V'Ball were released together, so it is neither more or less than a coincidence. Normally I pick individual game roms instead of gamesets in roms. I am now currently working on Ivan Ironman Stewart's Super Off Road. It has 8 different race tracks.

EDIT: Ivan Ironman is complete. 8 in 1. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves looks promising.

ADDITIONAL EDIT: NES Play Action Football is now finished and submitted. That means there aren't any NES sports games left on the list to map.

I'll tackle the driving stage last of all after the platformer stages.

EDIT: I have submitted the entire mapset of Super Spike V'Ball. I'll think another side project to do in the process doing Vice Project Doom.

ADDITIONAL EDIT: The remaining maps of Nintendo World Cup are done. Those two games are soon to be ticked off in a jiffy.

The pace is quickening now that I've done the third quarter of the Lemmings maps. Expect the final quarter very soon.

EDIT: The final quarter of Lemmings has been submitted. Soon as they arrive that's another game ticked off. Shall continue Vice: Project Doom.

Map Gab / Re: Eye of the beholder

I am beginning work on the PC version of "Eye of the Beholder". Before I resume my work, I'd like some opinions and feedback on the first level. There are several things you will notice that are different from the SNES map:

1. There are many more detailed objects such as sewer grates, levers and buttons.
2. Groups of monsters are placed in a room one by one, huddled up next to each other instead of a number underneath a single monster.
3. The positions of the items and much more organised and carefully placed.
4. The variable walls are shaded yellow instead of red (which would be camouflouged in the reddish-brown wall blocks).
5. The leeches have a much more appropriate appearance
6. There is no key to denote the objects. I shall be having creating a key in a seperate image to denote all 12 level objects in a nutshell.

Looking forward to a reply. I personally believe the DOS maps are going to turn out better than the SNES ones.

While my progress on Project Vice Doom continues I have submitted the one and only map of WWF Super Wrestlemania. This one was beyond a cinch.

EDIT: I have already started Lemmings and in short time and have submitted the first quarter of the game.

ADDITIONAL EDIT: I have now submitted the second quarter of the Lemmings level maps.

I have completed Track & Field II now. Check out the long, long Hang Gliding map. My next target is Vice: Project Doom.

I have been working on "Track & Field 2". I have mapped 10 out 15 events so there's not long before the game is fully mapped. Some of the maps you will notice are have quite a length, but I can reach so far in the gameplay I don't know the maximum length of the courses like "Triple Jump" and "Hammer Throw". Still I've submitted my best attempt.

Looks like someone else has a passion to create a video map. I hope a new improved version can be created with the floor panels appearing smashed when after falling, the guards staying dead after being killed and such like. I wonder if the SNES version of Prince of Persia is going to have its own video map.

I just wondered Darkwolf, have you abandoned this project? I noticed that your map of Duckburg is only one third of the Duckburg Level. The Mexico Stage is divided into three parts and the Transylvania Level I have worked on is divided into six parts. Would you like to resume and complete Duckburg and we can finish the map collection of the game together? Once every part of each level is finished, I think it would be a good idea to unite the parts together to form level maps. If you interested in this collaboration, I look forward to it. I'm not sure about you murphy341, but you can also collaborate if you want.

I see what you mean. You could remove some of that extra roof and make a diagonal border at the outer areas then you can link all the areas together with coloured paths sort of like Peardian's "Super Mario RPG" maps.
