Sega did just as good in adapting Disney franchises into games as Capcom did. Castle of Illusion was a personal favourite of mine in the Genesis variety and I was certainly excited about the remake they did in 2013. We really need more well-developed Disney platformers like Castle of Illusion in which characters like Pete, Chip and Dale (Classic not Rescue Rangers), Pluto and Milton the Cat star in their very own games.

I personally think that Battle Network 5 is the best in the series. The fourth game was trying something new, but the downsized sprites are perhaps a bit off putting. The plot is rather a mixed bag, if you think murdering the planets' population is going to purge evil. What's the morale of the story? Duo wasn't that evil in Mega Man 8. And what weird continent names they have on this planet such as Netfrica, Netopia and the like. This is proof that the Battle Network universe is not the same as the Mega Man classic universe which takes place on the same Earth we live on.

It's no surprise that the Red Sun and Blue Moon titles are rather a Pokemon Red and Blue similarity. All the maps you see before you are from the Blue Moon version, which seemed to have better colours or perhaps I was just continuing off from Battle Network 3 Blue version (Don't really know why I picked this one over the White version). Combining the maps together seemed like a good move, giving the impression you're looking at a realistic location and not some flat architectural plans. The labels I put in certainly make it easier to find hidden chips and powerups and to let you know where you can jack in. Perhaps in future I ought to find a way to finish off the Star Force maps (if only DesMume had hotkeys for enabling and disabling layers not to mention timing the graphic frames).

I'd like to see the day that VGMaps officially has a complete atlas one of particular game platform such as maps for all 22 Virtual Boy games. Hard to say if a complete atlas covering one particular console or computer will exist, since maps of even completed games continue to flow in. But in the event that it happened, it would be a record.

Realistically, I hope to see at least one map of every game platform in existence. Perhaps someone will introduce the Tiger Game.com into the list.

A fitting choice for Halloween and my most favourite game in the SNES library. Those maps truly are my masterpieces. It is unfortunate that series didn't not expand as well as the Castlevania series did. The nice addition from this game over its prequels is that your flight hover ability is not limited. Many of those maps were difficult to piece together due to multiple layers, especially the areas with water (aided by a cheated kindly provided on this very forum). My favourite stage is the "Towers of Doom" with all that vertical scaling up walls and making the best use of true flight. It feels nice to be an antihero in a game for a change and a demon is not a species you get to play as very often. Its an honour to receive this month award and I wish you all a Happy Halloween.

The three genesis games were slightly easier in gameplay than their NES originals. Shame that the release of the game was so limited in the day. Cartridges only existed in Europe. The funny thing about the European version is the reduced speed of the game and the music. The biggest bother of the game was trying to access the Wily Tower due to the broken save game system. Those Wily Tower levels certainly promise a lot of replayability due to the different combinations of eight weapons you can choose.

Sometimes I wish Mega Man 4, 5 and 6 got the same 16-bit treatment as the first three games. If the second trilogy was remade with two extra levels added and bundled with Wily Wars, there would be a perfect 100 maps in all.

"Kirby's Dream Land 2" is finally complete. The maze was a difficult one to cover, but I got it done in the end.

I certainly had fun with this one. This game certainly looks like a cross between Spy Hunter and Ninja Gaiden with two different genres of gameplay. You do have a good mix of melee and ranged weapons to use. The US Cover looks a lot better than the Japanese one that I thought at first it was a Capcom game (can't always judge by cover at first sight). I find Stage 4 to be the shortest and most bland of stages. Could have used some improvement there. My favourite stage is the eighth one for its futuristic look and mechanised theme. The last stage does have a Castlevania look about it. My favourite music tune is the first stage theme. This game probably deserves a SNES remake with the cutscenes in full colour instead of monochrome colour schemes. Definitely a game worth a play.

Recently I've been watching fun Mario trivia videos at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gvQj0f6qdc&list=PLsKhkt5W1CllFnjX6a-VvD8mY2EVF-oZz . They're fun and have excellent points on how Bowser is NOT a villian, Mario is NOT a hero and Princess Peach is NOT a damsel in distress. Check em' out.

The weird thing about the first episode is that some levels mix together, meaning you can see parts of level 7 in 1 and vice versa for example. My favourite of all episodes is the second one, due to it's weird and vast levels. That game was remixed into a strange Christian-themed game called Onesimus. You may have heard of the game "Vinyl Goddess from Mars". While it probably meant to be a sequel to Jill of the Jungle, it doesn't have the feel of an Epic game, it's more of a fast paced arcade Amiga game. Xargon was also a great classic. Would have been nice if Jill of the Jungle were remade to have the same detail and feel of Xargon. It was a thrill to map all three episodes of Jill, the most difficult to map was the jungle overworld in the third episode. It's nice to know that Jill is loved today as she was then. Her title was even give homage in Epic Pinball as well as a cameo in Jazz Jackrabbit. Recently Jill has appeared in a simple iOS game called "Jungle Pang". I think that's up to you. I never really considered Tetris maps to be priority any more than the maps of straightforward stages that you can't get lost in such as the 6th Stage (A whole new world) in SNES Aladdin.

Well for other maps there are special tetris screens which require you to eliminate all objects (acorns/flames/electrical bolts) using a limited number of tetris pieces. Talk to Chip 'n' Dale or go to the Fire Station or Power Station to enter that sort of game mode. There are over 100 of those screens and they get extremely hard to solve at the harder difficulties. If the solution could be displayed on the screen, I suppose they would be helpful and worth adding.
