I'm just wondering what webcomics, if any, you guys read on a regular basis. For the most part, I only check up on the following 2. I do occasionally check out a few others, but this is about it.

-=Pixel=-

http://pixelcomic.net/

A comic about Pixels. Many of the jokes are simply absurd, while others play on the idiosyncrasies of the author's pixel universe. For example:

-=The Adventures of Dr. McNinja=-

Ninjas are cool. Doctors are cool. Therefore, Dr. McNinja is even cooler. 'Nuff said

Here's the original article JonLueng pulled the graph from. It has a graph with pricesnot adjusted to inflation, for those who are curious (like me).

I remember seeing that quite a while ago. I find it interesting that only three consoles have been more expensive than the Channel F after 1982. Since then it appears that that the console prices have averaged slightly above the $300 line.

IIRC, this game was one of the few NES games that never saw a release in Japan.

I'm almost done with the Dungeons. I probably would be done right now if my computer wasn't older than dinosaurs. All I have to do is a few touch-ups.

I'm sure that game looked amazing in the year it came out, even though it makes me want to poke my eyes out.

Actually, Kingdom of Kroz, which was released 4-years earlier than ZZT, it used practically identical text mode graphics. Compare:

It was years ago, so I can't even remember the name of the MUD.

My guess is that is called 'Alatia.'

The only 'text hints' I added were to the Labrynth to explain the weird room transitions and the Palace to show the 'before' state. Everything else is just like it was in the original game. Seriously.

ZZT is an old DOS text game released in 1991 by Epic Megagames (now Epic Games). It also had had a sequel, Super ZZT, but nobody cares about it because it sucks. Despite being born the year it was released, I have fond memories of it. I now have the inexplicable urge to map the 4 official worlds starting with The Town of ZZT.

Maps were ripped using the Windows version of Kevedit.
