There are a lot of puzzle games out there.  But are there any that you absolutely love?  Just name your most fav puzzle game(s).  It can be any game, from Tetris, to Professor Layton, even to Portal: just any game that gets that noodle of yours thinking.  Here's mine (yes, I'm kinda old skool):

- Dr. Mario series.  Best of series: tie between Dr. Mario 64 and Dr. Mario Online RX.
- Puyo Puyo series.  Best of series: Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary (DS)
- Tetris Attack/Puzzle League
- WarioWare games
- Luxor 2

You guys?

Love love love love love Meteos~

I love Tetris Attack too, even if partly because of Yoshi's Island theme.

Oh yeah, forgot some more of my favs:

Blockout (Basically a 3D Tetris)
Tetris 2 (Basically what you get when you cross Dr. Mario with Tetris)

Revned

Picross and Tetris are the only ones I've played with any regularity.

My choice of favourite puzzle games are:

Puzzle Bobble series, 3 being my most favourite
The SNES version of Magical Drop 2 and the Neo-Geo game Magical Drop 3

I don't care for the Puzzle Bobble clone, Puzzle De Pon or the Chibi illustrated game Money Puzzle Exchanger.

Tie between the original Dr. Mario and Dr. Mario Online Rx.
From the Super Smash Bros. Brawl board on GameFAQs:
QuoteThe only Fox News we're interested in is breakthroughs in his metagame.

DarkWolf

Puyo Puyo, Columns, Lumines, Meteos, Super Puzzle Fighter, and an obscure arcade one called Soldam.

FlyingArmor

Picross is my favourite by a long shot. And I see there's the new "Picross 3D" for the DS, which looks pretty interesting.

It's weird because when I think about it, I don't really have a favourite puzzle game even though I love the genre. One of my biggest interest is geometry but so far I haven't found a game that really exploits that domain to my liking.

There's an upcoming game called Miegakure where you'll have to resolve puzzles by employing a fourth spatial dimension and I'm really looking forward to it. Otherwise, there's only really Echochrome that would interest me but it's only available on Sony platforms :(.
Current project:
Mega Man: Powered Up (PSP)

Picross 3D unfortunately is much simpler than its 2D cousin; it's not such a pure puzzle (the clues are hand-edited) and the only real challenge is to flip through 90 degrees without losing track of the block you were thinking of, the Picross aspects are very basic (never much bigger than 10x10).

I still played it all the way through, though.

Dr. Mario (NES, Gameboy and especially Wii version)
Tetris (NES, Gameboy, DS & Wii versions)
Mario vs. Donkey Kong

I think Shadowgate is considered a puzzle game too, and I love that one.
