That might well be the coolest thing I've seen. Ever.

Seems that and several other links are blocked at work, but I managed to find that this link isn't blocked; I assume it's the same thing: http://i.gizmodo.com/5135277/laser+etching-hall-of-fame-eee-pc-gets-tattooed-with-every-super-mario-land-level">http://i.gizmodo.com/5135277/laser+etching-hall-of-fame-eee-pc-gets-tattooed-with-every-super-mario-land-level

(That does remind me, I keep saying I want my own laptop.  :P)

I wonder...did he use edited versions of RyuMaster's maps from this very site, or did this guy map them himself?

I also wonder if the Light World would look good etched into something.  Maybe it helps that it's a square...

You could compare the original images. Things like animation frames (eg. waterfalls) would be strong indicators.

If people think things like this are so cool, you'd think VGMaps.com would get more hits...  >_>

Maybe I should get the map of Dark World of A Link To The Past printed, get a matching black frame, put it next to my printed-and-framed Light World map, get several high-res photos of both (without that darn flash reflection glare!), and then show those off on the Internet.  :P
