How do ya put your gold into the bank on here??

Do ya have to be at a certain level to bank your gold??

I think that you need to be level 18 to bank gold.

i don't know what a kudos bank is but I wanted to know how to bank the gold i've been colleting since becoming a member here..

Click on your name with a number after it on any page. It says "Gold Bank" near the bottom under "Other Features". If it doesn't say that then you need more "karma" which means you haven't been around for long enough to unlock that feature.

There's talk of moving to another forum which hopefully won't have all this silly stuff in it.

I haven't heard from bustin in a while, I assume any time he has spent on the new forums has to do with working around that password issue, which if he can figure out, should allow all users and posts to migrate over.

I think life goes on if we had to lose posts and reregister, but as it's happened a couple times before (through no fault of bustin, since that was before he was on board with VGMaps), I think especially the "veterans" here would be greatly annoyed and/or frustrated and we don't need that if there's at all a chance we can safely move.

As Maxim points out, the EXP/Gold never seemed to be a hit around here, so the new forums won't have that. Maybe I'll ask if we can have little icons of some sort next to our avatars or something (for the Maps Of The Month honour) but I don't think that's a huge deal if we can't keep that either.

why not have some sort of poll to see what everyone thinks about the idea of revamping the forums and any future ideas on revamping the website?

Oh, I'm pretty sure everyone is on board for the idea of revamping the forums, the only issue is currently with preserving the posts and users which bustin is working on. If he's not successful with that, I'm sure it will be up for discussion.

As for the revamp of the whole web site, I will discuss my thoughts of that in a month's time... *looks at calendar* ...probably exactly a month, actually. (I'm sure everyone knows why.)

Don't worry, the idea of a site revamp is not dead, but there are some issues to address...but again, it'll be a month before I wish to seriously touch that topic.
