The Legend Of Zelda, Final Fantasy, and Metroid!

They did the Legend Of Zelda one which I absolutely loved last year, leading up to Twilight Princess.  Obviously the current Final Fantasy and Metroid ones are leading up to Final Fantasy XIII and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.  But they're all so very awesome.

Having played all the Zelda games (except the CD-i games), all the Metroid games (though I never did finish Metroid Prime Hunters or Metroid Prime Pinball), and all of the main Final Fantasy games up to and including IX, I haven't learned a ton yet that I probably didn't know before, but if you weren't initially a fan, these retrospectives would be a great way to catch up.
