« on: February 02, 2010, 11:44:51 pm »
I am surprised no one has mapped this game yet considering that Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. are already mapped

I might be interested in doing it, I am guessing that I have to play the entire games on my computer in order to map them?
Of course. The method I use is the N64 equivalent of a screenshot map. You'll have to visit every corner and passage in the game.

Excellent job on the new map, Revned. :D

I wouldnt be able to do this.  I dont like either of the Castlevania 64 games enough to play through them.  I guess we will have to wait for you

Since my lengthy post was eaten by the time warp, let me just say it again. I know how to rip Nintendo 64 maps, but I can't do it here on campus because my laptop is a piece of junk. The two Castlevania 64 games are just the right kind to be able to be mapped with the method I use to map Paper Mario. I am willing to teach someone how to do it themselves, as well as offering to render the rooms myself if it proves itself to be necessary.

If anyone feels they are up to the challenge, contact me. If you waited on me to do map this game myself, it would be several years before I got to it.

Here is some eyecandy:

I would love to see all the Castlevania games for the DS mapped, along with Haunted Castle, the Castlevania arcade game from the 80's, and Castlevania Chronicles if possible.  I am sure all Castlevania fans would love to see these maps.

Can someone map Haunted Castle, the Castlevania Arcade game?

Actually is this post being made as a request for people to map the remaining Castlevania games?  No maps have been made for any of the Castlevania games for DS, PS2, PSP, N64 and also Castlevania Chronicles for Playstation.

did you guys give up on this?

Can anyone make Circle of the Moon Maps in the same format as the Symphony of the Night and Harmony of Dissonance where they are divided into each section?

yeah he is right, there is a secret room at the bottom of Stage 6, I totally forgot about that one.  It has a bunch of power-up stuff in it. Wow, stage 8 already, only a few more to go.

Awesome once again. I always liked the forest parts of this game, Stage 5 looks good. I forget what Stage 6 looks like, but I know there are some large stages up ahead.
