Maps In Progress / Re: Lufia & The Fortress of Doom (SNES)
« on: July 11, 2010, 11:07:59 am »
Hey are these Lufua games any good? I like RPG games like Dragon Warrior/Quest and was wondering how this series compares. I was considering buying the Lufia games for the SNES, Game Boy Color & Game Boy Advance.  I heard a new one is coming for the DS too.

Super Players? That's basically the Lost Levels, right?

Yes, its The Lost Levels with NES graphics since its on the Game Boy Color. You unlock this game when you get 300,000 points on the original Super Mario Bros.  I have not beaten "Super Players" yet on Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, but I heard that it only goes up to World 8-4 on this version, and not up to World D-4 like the SNES version. But its still cool to see the game on NES graphics.

Dr. Mario (NES, Gameboy and especially Wii version)
Tetris (NES, Gameboy, DS & Wii versions)
Mario vs. Donkey Kong

I think Shadowgate is considered a puzzle game too, and I love that one.

Sadly it was over so very soon...

I just started on the game this month. Since you can save twice per world, once at the middle Fortress and also at the last castle I am only doing half a world each time I play. By playing it this way it will take me longer to beat and I will enjoy it more.

Right now I am currently working on New Super Mario Bros. Wii, about halfway done with World 3. I am also working on Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for the Gamecube which I have beaten before, but wanted to play again. I am also planning on starting Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga soon, I just bought that game and have never played it before.

Nothing against this game at all, although I have never played it, but I just noticed that Super Mario All-Stars has never been named Map of the Month. I am surprised it was never mentioned and I think that game deserves the award before the year ends, especially considering how many maps Zeric had to create for it.

These are great maps but there are still maps missing for the Challenge Mode. It goes up to World 8-4 but the maps stop at 3-4. Any possibility that the Challenge Maps could be finished?

I really didnt get that far in either of the N64 Castlevania games as I did not like them, but I am not surprised that they would be difficult to map since its a 3D game, and I remember them looking like crap anyway.

It would be cool if you could map Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, and also Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.

Thanks.  I know I missed a few enemies, but I didn't think I'd be able to get nearly as many as I did in the first place.

Were you also going to map the Castlevania 64 games?  No one has done that yet.

Maps In Progress / Re: Tracks of Mario Kart Wii

If you are able to map Mario Kart Wii then you will be considered a God.  I suggest making the background color for the maps completely black when you make the final versions, but other than that this looks great.

Great job on these maps, they look awesome. I have never hard of this game until now, but I would love to play it, especially since it has different stuff in it like from the Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. games
