I suppose you'd be excited, wouldn't you? So you have to tell us, how did you manage to get tickets? Sorry if I've missed it; I didn't read all the original posts on the new forum.

Ah, I see. I guess Blockbuster stores in Canada don't have any taste :P Or is it because you're in the French area?

I'd put regular doors. Theoretically, before you enter the room that's what they'd look like. They only turn gray and lock you in when the boss spawns. It would be more intuitive, and strangely enough, I think it would be more accurate, even though you never see them like that. Just imagine you are mapping what the station looks like from a withdrawn perspective, not necessarily from within each of the rooms.

Yeah. I'm going to do the overworld from Non-DX, and finish up what's yet to be mapped of DX. Not really the same project, but related enough to put in one topic.

The tiles are mostly the same, but nearly every one has a slight change. I could use my Tile Slicer/Splicer to do this quickly, but osrevad's map has a few mistakes that I'd have to correct first, and there's really no fun in doing it. I'm doing this for the fun of it, not just to have a map.

Map Gab / The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (DX) (Game Boy/GBC)
« on: April 22, 2006, 10:07:39 am »
I've always wanted to map the Link's Awakening overworld in its entirety, so that's what I've been doing lately. Sure, it may be unnecessary, but if it's fun, why not? The reason I put (DX) is because I think I'll do the dungeons in color. I've almost finished the overworld map, but I haven't started any dungeons.

Sounds like a cool class! I've seen thousands of movies. Yes, that ended with an 's'. I'm obsessed with Hitchcock, seen almost every one of his movies. Since I've run out of his films, I've been moving on to other directors. Kurosawa happens to be my director of choice, at the moment. I have yet to see Rashomon, hopefully soon. I like all his films I've seen immensely, but my favorites are Yojimbo and Throne of Blood. The music in the former was really amazing, and the latter was by far the best version of Macbeth I've seen.

Oh, I see. Kind of forgot about that. Lets see... there were different paths, but they all led to Andross? Is he the guy?

Ach, Google failed me for #6. I saw a big ol' article about his Nitendog named Pip. Ah well. And I didn't think it would be Star Fox, but it sure was a big deal when the Rumble Pack came out.

Howdy. Kurosawa isn't obscure. Far from it. He's widely acknowledged as the best Japanese movie director. At least see Seven Samurai. It's on IMDB's Top 10. As for the other one, if you want to see it, you can get it for free off Archive.org.

Oh, where to start. Last movie I saw in the theatre was V for Vendetta, but I've seen plenty of movies on TV/DVD. I've seen 4 or 5 Kurosawa movies in the last couple weeks. He's been promoted to my very exclusive list of favorite directors. I also saw a German expressionist silent movie called "Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari." It was very interesting. It's on IMDB's Top 250. Yeah... I doubt any of you care about my old movies....

Heh, I was just about to make a post saying the following:

"I take it Inty made the poll, not Jon. It would be a rare sight indeed to see Jon make such a major typo in such a well known character's name."

All I have to say is:

:(

Really, I see no advantage as of yet. And to top it all off, the multitudes of posts I poured my heart and soul into are lost. AGAIN. Inty, I don't like you.
