Map Requests / Re: Mario Kart Double Dash for the Gamecube?
« on: November 26, 2011, 08:02:56 am »
No it has not, it would probably have to be mapped the same way they did Mario Kart 64. So I guess a die hard fan of the series would have to take on this project.

That dkc-atlas site is awesome. I love how they did their maps with the animated gif's.

I don't have a problem with waiting, especially if you are going to map it because I know you do a thorough job and map every single area. I hope you can also do both world maps for the game, no one has even mapped those either. Thanks.

I wonder if anyone would ever map the Game Boy Color version of Dragon Warrior 3.

Looks good so far. Are you going to add the icons to show where certain things are on the tracks? Like the items you pick up, or the pipes, etc.

Paco your Dragon Warrior IV Maps are amazing, I was the one who requested them on VGMapper. Thank you so much for making these, I know that fans of the series will love them.

I was wondering if you made a World Map on your own? I see that the map Rick Burns made is on the site, but if you happened to have made one too I would like to have yours for my collection. If you are not able to upload it I can give you an email address.

Gaming / Re: Dragon Quest 6 for the DS?

I heard a lot of people had all kinds of issues with either not getting the game, or not getting the Slime plushie, or both. I think its so funny how they thought it was ok just to cancel my order without even telling me. I am glad I am getting the game through Amazon anyway because its cheaper, free shipping, and it wont be opened by a Gamestop employee.

There were a bunch of these Slime plushies for sale on Ebay starting last week before the game's release, which leads me to believe that Gamestop employees of the stores got the Slimes early and started selling some of them.

My story is pretty funny. I pre-ordered through Gamestop's site for an in store pickup at least a week before the game's release. I called the store yesterday to see if my game was in yet, the guy said they only had 1 pre-order/copy of the game at his store and it wasn't for me. He did say he had 1 extra Slime Plushie since Gamestop sent several to each store.

I called customer service and they said they decided to cancel my pre-order (w/out even telling me) because they ran out of Slime Plushies. They said I can re-order the game but I wont get a Slime though. So I went to the store and told the guy that customer service said I can have his extra Slime and I would get the game mailed to me. I got the Slime from him for free, and then ordered the game off Amazon which is cheaper anyway. The game shipped out today.

So yeah I got the Slime for free without even buying the game from Gamestop, but that's what they get for trying to screw me over.

Here is a photo of the Slime Plushie btw.

That's cool. When you do them will you also be able to map the small shrines, or small places you visit that only have 1 building or person in them? I think it would be cool to have every area you can visit mapped, not just the towns, castles, and dungeons.

And will you do the "New Town" in Dragon Warrior 3? You know the town that you build yourself when you leave a party member there? It would be cool if you did a map for each stage of the New Town, including the last version when your party member winds up in prison there.

Looking forward to these maps, thanks

Such a shame, as this was a pretty fun game, and the maps should be somewhat interesting.

So you still are unable to finish them? You still need cheat codes?
