Finally this game gets map of the month, much well deserved and good idea for the same month that it is being re-released on the Wii.

Looks good, I also like how you added the name for all the items, weapons, etc with the font directly from the game.

Wait I thought you said you were currently mapping this game. Are the maps that are on this site right now it, or are you making more maps to add to those. The ones on the site look great  by the way.

Well hopefully one day soon you will have the urge to remap this game. I didn't know if it would be easy or not since you already had one huge castle map. But at least instead we are getting a new Castlevania game mapped that has never been before in Dawn of Sorrow.

yeah I liked how they did it both ways for SOTN with the huge map and individual areas. I wish they did it that way on Circle of the Moon, is that Sprays guy who made the COTM maps on this forum?

I was wondering if the DS Castlevania games were ever going to be mapped. I look forward to seeing Dawn of Sorrow.  Will you be making one huge map, or have them all in separate castle sections? Or both?

Yeah some people seem to think that Vampire Killer was the original game and Castlevania was based off that because Vampire Killer came out in 1986 and Castlevania in 1987, however Castlevania was released in 1986 in Japan prior to Vampire Killer, under the Japanese name Akumajō Dracula

I am excited that someone is mapping this game. I wish I knew how to or I would do it myself. Are you a Castlevania fan or just of this game?

Is the map you posted in the first post in this thread the final map or will yours be bigger?

Oh, it's been done, just not done well at all.

I should also point out that the ones on that site are at 1/2 normal resolution.

I got the impression that he took a bunch of screenshots and cropped them together. But yes, they are very small and I really dont consider them to be maps based off the way they look.
