Can you add Super Princess Peach to the list? I don't think that game hasn't been getting any map-related updates lately.

Yeah, I've been putting the other projects to the side to get OoT done. SMA3 will likely be next, due to its relation to Yoshi's Island. I may work on Starfy at the same time, I dunno. Either way, I'm hoping to use that nifty GBA map stitcher to speed things up. For future reference, you can check the first post of this thread for the current status of my mapping projects, both in progress and planned. (Hence the title. :P)

And sorry, LTIan, I don't do requests. I have too much on my plate as it is. I really enjoyed Super Princess Peach, but I just have so many other mapping projects that take precedence.

Update (8/11): Spirit Temple done! Woo!

Excellent--only the Ganon's Castle areas now remain! It's pretty exciting you've gotten this far. Kudos, Peardian!

I completed the outside of Ganon's Castle. With that, all of the overworld locations are complete, as are all locations with mini-maps!

Oh, and have a full set of HD 1920x1080 Spirit Temple wallpapers.

Thanks to Peardian, all those Overworld maps from OoT are also up on my map system... http://maps.zelda.com.br/?map=5

There is still a few missing things (Dungeons, Lon Lon Ranch), but it's all online thanks to Peardian!

You are awesome :) Thank you for the opportunity to work with you!

A certain someone will be happy to know that I updated the Market map with the fully-ripped Treasure Box Shop. I must say, it was rather enjoyable.

Also, progress on Ganon's Castle is coming along nicely. It actually beats out the Spirit Temple for highest number of rooms. Here's a breakdown, for those of you who like numbers.

-Castle Base: 21
-Castle Tower: 10
-Escape (Tower): 6
-Escape (Base): 2
-Final Battle: 1

I did it! I finished Ocarina of Time! It's taken me just over two years, but I've done it! I created my Ocarina of Time mapping folder on August 21, 2010. And now I can finally say I'm done!

WOOHOO!

Congratulations! Yes, Ganon's Tower (exterior) looks rather interesting from above. I can't wait to see how you laid out the interior--I'm sure it was massive!

And yes, I noticed the revised Market maps. It looks much fuller now! There's something about the Treasure Box shop progression from green to blue to red to gold that's visually appealing. :)

Now just for posterity, I can post back to my list on page 8 (posted in February 2011!) of all the mappable areas of the game:

They're all crossed off! =D

It's been too long! I have been resting a bit after finishing Ocarina of Time. A good portion of that time was spent hunting for jobs, which is more time consuming than I expected. Well, it finally paid off this morning, as I received (and accepted) an offer for what will be my first real job! I'll be a PHP programmer at a small company, so it will be fun. I start Monday, and while I do not yet know what my hours will be, I do know it will severely cut into my free time. Rather than further reduce my mapping activity, however, it should serve to increase it. Having a set schedule of when I can and can't do fun stuff lets me focus, which is why my productivity generally fell when I was away from classes.

Anyway, I have been doing other things in my off-time as well. I've been looking into the internal files of Wario Land: Shake It! a lot this past week. In fact, I just submitted to Jon a set of quick map rips from the game done with the help of my friend. No level maps just yet, though, as I haven't found a way to rip the foregrounds effectively.

I've also finished a custom model of mine that I started working on. If you liked my SMRPG maps, you'll like this.

Ah, you're back! Yeah, I bet you did need a nice extended break after OoT.

Speaking of which, in the spirit of those maps, I've decided to post a list of Master Quest maps that I can cross off once you're done:

  • Inside the Deku Tree
  • Dodongo's Cavern
  • Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly
  • Forest Temple
  • Fire Temple
  • Ice Cavern
  • Water Temple
  • Bottom of the Well
  • Shadow Temple
  • Gerudo Training Ground
  • Spirit Temple
  • Inside Ganon's Castle

The Majora's Mask list I think will be more fun, though. ;)

Also looking forward to seeing what you do with Wario Land: Shake It!

Thanks for the handy list!

By the way, you guys may be glad to hear that I've started back up mapping again! Now that I have a job and a firm schedule, I finally have a structure I can work with. I've started with SMA3's secret levels, as these silly screenshots show.

I found the best code ever!

It has a side effect, though...

Update: The first secret level is finished!

Wow, has it really been over a month? Times flies when you have a job, I guess.

Anyway, Secret 2 is done. Talk about a crazy castle!

Looks great. So on this game are you just going to map levels that are only on this version, and then just use the existing SNES maps since they are the same? I have not played this version yet so I dont know if it is the same as SNES or if it has added levels.

Yeah, I'm only doing the Secret levels. The rest of the levels are almost identical, with only two significant differences. (New room in 1-8, first midpoint in 4-4 moved down.) The six Secret levels (one for each world) are brand new, and are unlocked after beating the final boss.

Anyway, have some more silliness as I prepare for Secret 3...
