Maps In Progress / Link Between Worlds Maps

Yep, in my never ending journey of game mapping, I have made maps for Link Between Worlds. I was thinking of sending them to this site, so that you guys can have them. But if any of you want them for whatever reason, just credit me

Map Gab / So I am working to do Super Mario 64 (hand drawn of course)

I wasn't sure how well I would pull this project off, but surprisingly it's going fairly well. My only problem I have left is Course 3, 4, 12 and 14, which is driving me nuts. I've tried different approaches, and just when I think I got it, something snags up!

Here's the problem:
Course 3: Believe it or not, the water is my enemy here. Trying to control Mario long enough while drawing the underwater areas is somewhat tricky to do. Atleast I got the secret cavern out of the way though.

Course 4 and 12 (since they are both mountain areas): I'm trying to do a top down tactic (start from the top and spiral downwards to the bottom), but all the hidden areas under certain parts of the mountains are causing me problems.

Course 14, I'm trying to do a bottom up tactic, but that's kinda getting tricky. Not sure why because I was able to do it in Course 7 pretty good. I might have an idea on what to do with this, but I still need to test it.

VGMaps Social Board / ATTN: JonLeung (regarding Transformers Animated)

I just wanted to get the word out to you since you're a huge TF fan (incase you haven't heard), Transformers Animated will end after Season 3 (which is rumored to start next month). There hasn't been a reason given why the cancellation, but apparently it's been confirmed just recently that this will happen.



I know, I'm sad about this because I really loved Transformers Animated, and I wish it would have last longer (maybe Season 5?), but this is a dark day indeed for us fans.

VGMaps Social Board / Thanks to this site, I'm in a book

Back in January of this year, I got the following email:



Hello! My name is Wanda and I'm a photo researcher for Capstone Press, a small publishing company in Mankato, Minnesota. We publish children's educational nonfiction books for struggling readers. I'm working in a set of books called "Map Mania", which is geared to help introduce the concept of maps to young children.  At the end of each book we like to include an "Amazing but True" fact and we plan on having one of these be about "game" mapping. I found your image of the Blue Creek Apartment Building map (bottom image) on the "VGMaps" website, and was wondering if the image of the map might be available for us to use in our children's book. It wouldn't be a very large image, but it would work well with the text that talks about how you can even map a video game!



Well, I guess I'll start there and see what you think! I can work with a high resolution (300dpi) digital image, and you would get a photo credit in the book as well as a complimentary copy of the book for allowing us to use your image! :-)  Please let me know if you have any questions on my request, and thank you for your consideration!

So of course I was okay with that. And actually, they perfer my Super Mario Sunshine map (which is seen on GameFAQs) instead.



Two months ago, I finally got 5 copies of the books, which has my map in it and I'm credited. Now yeah they used a different map that I don't have on this site (I don't think atlesat), but it started with them finding a map here. So because of that, I want to thank this site and the creators for helping me get into this book.



Yeah I should have posted this months ago, but things came up and I got lazy

Now I know normally one would search the help section on rules and karma, except the link to the help files don't work? Anyways, where could I get some info on karma and gold and stuff?
